CMA Decatur Plant Achieves 2024 Medium Manufacturer Safety Achievement Award from Manufacture Alabama

The CMA Decatur plant won the 2024 Medium Manufacturer Safety Achievement Award from Manufacture Alabama, and the award was presented on August 13, 2025.

Manufacture Alabama is the sole trade association serving manufacturers and their partner industries in Alabama. Each year, various manufacturing plants in Alabama that are members of the Manufacture Alabama submit entries for Safety Achievement Awards.

The awards consider the companies’ track record for the period of January 1 through December 31 of each year. The program was developed targeting all Manufacture Alabama member plants to serve as a motivational tool—to encourage and reward good safety performance; provide member companies with a standard method of measuring and comparing safety performance with similar size plants producing similar products; recognize plants achieving superior safety performance; and help ensure that manufacture Alabama continues to strive to have the safest manufacturing industries in Alabama and in the United States.

The list of 2025 Safety Achievement Awards winners were posted on the Manufacture Alabama LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram pages. CMA Decatur Plant hopes to win another award in 2026 for calendar year 2025. We continue to keep our focus on safety as the top priority at Decatur.
