Annual Bethel School District Supply Drive Tacoma (TA) Plant & Headquarter (HQ)
Every year our TA Plant in Washington State partners with the local Bethel School District (BSD) to donate much-needed school supplies to students and teachers. This year, all donations directly went to Bethel School District students who are a part of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Assistance Act. This act directly removes barriers to the enrollment and retention of homeless children and youth.
Our employees came together to help with the 2021-2022 school year by filling collection buckets in our break rooms and purchasing pre-selected kits at either a $10 or $25 value.
The campaign was a success with an estimated $1,340 worth of supplies. Included in the 500+ items donated by TA Plant employees and HQ of CMA, our employees contributed pencils, pens, notebooks, erasers, paper, glue, crayons and craft supplies along with many other essential school items.
At the end of the campaign, Secretary to Director of Community Connections of the Bethel School District, Pam Paulsen, visited TA Plant to collect the supplies. Thank you, TA Plant employees, for your continued generosity!
