Tacoma Plant Collaborates with the Pierce County Skills Center 2024

Annually, the Toray’s Tacoma plant participates in a career fair event hosted by the Pierce Country Skills Center (PCSC), the “Plan Your Future” event. The sessions consist of High School Juniors and Seniors who have interests in starting a career after graduation. During the sessions the students inquire about Toray, what we do and the benefits we offer. The continued partnership between PCSC and Toray has helped to influence and educate students as they plan to enter into the workforce.

The Tacoma plant also participates in a presentation and workshop event hosted by the Pierce Country Skills Center (PCSC). The presentation is an overview of  Toray, the prepreg process, and Toray’s culture. During the workshop the Highschool students get to display their skills on work order process, laying up the material and utilization of their waterjet skills. We are grateful to be welcomed by the PCSC for this opportunity.
